RockLite Wheel Inserts — 1.3"
$10.00
In stock — ships in 1-2 business days
Foamed wheel inserts engineered for consistent sidewall support and predictable rebound. Sold as a pair.
A pair is one axle. Front and rear do different jobs, so you can order a different spoke count or durometer for each — add one pair for the front and another for the rear. Two pairs covers the truck. Mixing durometers across axles — softer up front for grip, firmer at the rear for drive — is exactly what the pair split is for.
Spoke Count is the number of chevron arms — and the number of grip grooves on the outer edge, which always match. Fewer arms give more compliance; more arms hold shape under load.
Insert size is set by your wheel and tire together: the wheel determines the hub the insert seats on, the tire determines the cavity it fills. Use the finder above, or see the measuring guide.
Custom durometers and dual-stage builds — firmer outer half for sidewall support, softer inner half for climbing — are available on request. Ask us.

How to choose
Spoke Count is the number of chevron arms in the ring — and the number of grip grooves on the outer edge, which always match. Fewer arms span further and give more compliance; more arms shorten the unsupported span and hold shape under load. It does not affect fit.
- 18 Most compliant — technical crawling, low speed
- 24 Balanced — general trail use
- 30 Most supportive — higher speed, heavier rigs
Durometer sets material firmness, independent of spoke count.
- 75A Soft — maximum grip and rebound
- 85A Medium — everyday balance
- 95A Firm — sidewall support, resists rollover
Insert size is set by two things together. Your wheel determines the hub the insert seats on — diameter and width. The insert is rigid and will not compress onto a narrower hub, so this has to match. Your tire determines the cavity the insert fills — its overall width and height.
Use the finder above and both are chosen for you, or measure them yourself.
